No To Month-Ender MTG Tournament

Too bad, we missed today’s month-ender MTG tournament at Padi’s Point, SM North Edsa (Sky Garden). It’s so ironic because the venue is the same culprit for our absence. Yeah, we drunk to our heart’s content last night and we finished around 3AM.

We called it “hot chix” bonding, a.k.a. double date. I never imagined drinking at the rooftop while gazing at the stars and staring at Eurotel could be that mesmerizing. Lol.

And I never thought, we’ll be missing the tournament I’ve been playtesting for. Seems that my deck will be back to the drawing board without experiencing ultimate action in the battlefield. Oh well… the meta keeps changing but my deck isn’t moving. Gaahhhh…. sooo frustrating!

It’s really difficult to choose between fun and excitement. They always go together. And the double happiness last night kinda justifies my frustration today. Happy Animated Lovers

Arakawa Under the Bridge

Sunday, 23 October, 2011

Kou Ichinomiya is the lead character of this series and I’d love to call him an alpha-male: smart, rich and handsome.

Misfortune befalls upon him at the Arakawa Bridge and it became worst when he started to live with the people under the bridge.

Set in Arakawa, Tokyo, the series tells the story of Kou Ichinomiya, a man who has accomplished everything by himself. Ever since he was little, his father has taught him one rule: to never be indebted to another person. One day by accident, he falls into the Arakawa River and almost drowns. A girl by the name of Nino rescues him and, in return, he owes her his life. Unable to accept the fact that he is indebted to her, he asks her about a way for him to repay her. In the end, she tells him to love her, beginning Kou’s life of living under a bridge. However, as Kou starts to learn, Arakawa is a place full of weirdos and all of the people living under the bridge are what society would call “denpasan”.

But you can also cosplay the trick or treat way! Imagine the darkest side of your favorite anime characters! Death Note is one of the animes I can easily associate with the Halloween theme!

Pinkville’s September Site Traffic

Saturday, 1 October, 2011

Pinkville isn’t into hard core blog monetization but I still love checking its monthly statistics. Here’s the site traffic for September 2011:

Pinkville September Site Traffic

Pinkville's Daily Site Traffic

I think it’s the first time that I share something about this here. Anyway, it’s a relief to know that Pinkville is getting a decent amount of traffic with US and Philippines as the top 2 referring countries respectively.

An average of 208 visitors per day isn’t bad at all! With consistent blog updates and continuous blog hops, I’m hoping to get better result for October!
