Sexy Anime Fan Art - Kore Wa Zombie Desu Ka?

Aikawa Ayumi is your average high school student until one day; he got murdered by a serial killer. Fortunately for him, he was resurrected by the enigmatic necromancer, Eucliwood Hellscythe. However, instead of being revived as a mortal, he was turned into a zombie that allows him to exceed the limits of a normal human being as well as giving him superhuman strength. The only drawback though is that he is weak against sunlight and it dries him up and he can still feel pain when physically injured.

The story progress with the protagonist slowly realizing that he is stronger than he initially thought. And after meeting and draining the magical powers of Haruna, who is a magical girl, Aikawa is then able to turn himself into a more powerful being dressed as a magical girl.

Kore Wa Zombie Desu Ka is a harem anime. A harem is a genre of anime wherein there is a single male protagonist who is surrounded by a lot of supporting female characters. The anime has a total of thirteen episodes including an OVA. The plot is interesting but since it only has a couple of episodes, it was not given much focus until the last few episodes of the series. There is also a running gag in the anime wherein the protagonist always gets hacked into pieces by the enemies but still survives since he is already dead. The good thing about the anime is that the atmosphere is light and has humor in it. Furthermore, it is a shounen anime, anime directed to the younger male audience so they are more likely to appreciate the harem concept.

On the other hand, the magical girl aspect of the anime will attract young female audiences. Overall, the ideas are unique and can be recommended for the general audiences. If you are someone who loves to watch some zombie kicking the ass of other creatures of the dark or another zombie, then this anime is for you.

Persona: Trinity Soul

Monday, 12 November, 2012

Persona Trinity SoulPersona: Trinity Soul is an occult anime TV series which is also a part of the Shin Megami Tensei: Persona series. The anime is a non-canonical take of the Playstation 2 game Persona III in which the series’ events starts 10 years after the game’s events. The story starts with Shin Kanzato, along with his younger brother Jun, moving back to Ayanagi, their hometown, to see their older brother Ryou Kanzato who is now the superintendent of Ayanagi’s City Polic Force. It has been ten years since a disaster severed Ayanagi City and when the siblings saw each other.

Basically, in the world of Persona, some people are gifted with the ability to summon an entity from inside them which can combat other opposing personas. These personas are basically another representation of themselves. They appear in various forms and often wield weapons and have other supernatural ability. The plot revolves around people suffering apathy syndrome, a mysterious disease which puts people in a somewhat catatonic state, and is being investigated by the police.

The anime is a good watch however if you are into battle animes like Naruto, Bleach, and or One Piece, you would not be able to appreciate it. Persona: Trinity Soul is a plot driven series and rely less on combat scenarios. It has a number of dramas in it than action. It also has a bit of romance but it is not the focus of the anime. What I did not appreciate though is that there are some parts of the stories which were unexplained like what kind of being is the whale, and why is there a whale. There are a couple of unanswered questions although you can live with it. Watch it and you’ll know what I am talking about.  If you are into occult animes Like Tokyo Majin, XXXholic, you may find Persona: Trinity Blood interesting.

Movie Marathon Every Weekend

Tuesday, 12 October, 2010

I have another blog called Impulsive Buyer and I post there my every purchase, rather, the result of my impulsive shopping. I wasn’t able to update it lately and I am not even sure if I have uploaded some pictures of my ever-kikay external hard drive. It looks like a pink purse and I love it so much!

Oh dear, come to think of it, she doesn’t have a name! Yup, I give names to precious things gadgets of mine. Chandler is my laptop, Nailo’s my DSLR. For now, let me park the quest for her name. Hopefully, I can come up with a good one later.

I’ve been using this portable hard disk drive for almost half a year and it’s so convenient. It has brought me joys and pleasure. LOL. Leisure time becomes so perfect! I have lots of movies and Jap-series on it and we watched them every weekend. Currently, my boyfriend and I are enjoying the exciting drifts of Initial D! This 4-stage anime makes me crazy over cars. I think I’m just few steps away from my own car and a license. 🙂

Cuddling while watching...

I can feel it!

Chased by zombies

They don't die, do they?

I’ve been into movie and anime marathon lately. Finished Angel Beats but I haven’t watched the entire series of High School of the Dead yet – kinda gross at times especially when they hit the zombies’ head real hard. Argh.

I just noticed that most shows today emphasize the undead, purgatory, ghost-hunting and the like. I wonder why those stuff interest so many viewers so much. I can appreciate things like this but too much blood is just… TOO MUCH. I can go with the flow if it’s about poltergeist, exorcism, hypnosis, or witchcraft but count me out for gruesome scenes like Dawn of the Dead.

Speaking of undead, I hate all of them in Plants VS Zombies! On my first Endless Survival mode attempt, I only completed twenty flags! Those zombies ate my plants and sunflowers. Why do they eat sunflowers by the way? Do they want them to be part of their funeral flowers or not? Whatever, zombies! Die monster, die!!!

Have you encountered zombies before? Is it a gift or a curse? LOL.
